I HATE HUMSS

HUMSS strand is the platform that I have chosen to develop and prepare myself for the coming college years. As a grade 11 student Humanista at University of Cebu, I have written some reasons why I hate this so called HUMSS strand.

1. I HATE HUMSS because in this strand you have to socialize with your classmates even though you do not like it. And I think it is the best part of this strand! Because of group activities, you are forced to came out from your shell where you were stay hidden for years (you can do it lil turtle!) and discover the best version of yourself outside your comfort zone.

2. PILED UP PAPERWORKS Yep, when I say piled up, it's a LOT. You don't know where to actually start and you just end up staring at the ceiling, hopelessly. But in the end of the day, you will find yourself finishing it all and you will feel a satisfying pleasure out of frustrations and stress! Staring your paper works scattering on your study table and can finally sleep is the best thing ever!

3. DEBATES. You hate arguing? WELL YOU SHOULD. In this strand, there's a lot of debate! But I guess proving your side and and opposing their notions can be very challenging! Are you ready?

4. MEMORIZATION. Well you get your brain cells ready if you do not want it to get deteriorated. In this strand, there's a lot of memorization to the point that it will take your sanity away! But don't worry, knowledge is the only treasure that we can keep for a lifetime until we die.

5. TOO MEMORABLE TO BE FORGOTTEN. Remembering all your sleepless nights, cramming days, crying-your-heart-out days and a body-numbing anxiety when getting your school card can be a-not-so-good memories to remember to when you graduated in senior high. But trust me, this strand can be called basic because there's less number (that means LESS MATH) but darling, don't underestimate this strand. It will test your patience and perseverance that can be stepping stone for you to strengthen up yourself in coming the coming college years.

What I like about this strand is you didn't expect that it will give you a difficulty that can even make you check your pulse if you're still alive (LOL! KIDDING!) Kidding aside, for me it's the best strand ever! Not just because of those very intriguing subjects that it offers but also the people that makes the HUMSS, HUMSS! Humanista can be very vocal, expressive and competent. And the memories, experiences and most importantly the lessons while surviving in this strand will be the forever treasured in your heart and mind. What I hate about this strand? WELL I HATE IT BECAUSE I AM SO FREAKING IN LOVE WITH THIS STRAND! That it saddened me lot that I am only given 2 years to study in this strand. If I were you, I will not miss the chance to experience the roller coaster life of being a humanista. GO HUMANISTA!
